Mom & Dad
I'm sending this special wish your way,
To say you're in my heart each and every day.
Being together doesn't mean having to touch,
It means loving each other so much.
Close your eyes each time you light your tree,
Picture us sitting together, just you and me.
Wrapping gifts, singing a song, spreading cheer,
Exchanging thoughts for the coming New Year.
From my first breath, to my first Christmas tree,
For each day of my life you've been a part of me.
Think of all the years, old and new,
All the dreams, we've made come true.
As you light your tree, top it off with a star,
Remember I'm with you wherever you are.
I'll be whispering, "I love you Dad & Mom,"
To me you'll always be my number one.
